A false story about myself I created in my head.
I AM NOT SMART ENOUGH
That was the story I shared on Sunday at CLE is my OM II. We each found a partner and shared our false story.
When I shared mine, my partner seemed really surprised. She had JUST taken my class 30 minutes before where I talked all about choosing yourself and loving yourself.
I giggled and said, "YES. When I teach, my soul speaks, not my insecure self. But YES the insecure Ylonda totally exists and I have to speak to her everyday so that she doesn't spin out of control. So really I'm speaking to myself in my classes, reminding myself. "
My Soul tells me DAILY
You have to learn to believe in yourself. It is not conceited to love yourself, it is not having too much pride accepting yourself, it is not arrogant. It is happiness.
You are arrogant and conceited ONLY IF you believe that you are better than others, if you let your own judgment and opinions close yourself to people and experiences.
But to truly love and accept yourself? Well that is a gift you must protect.
I invite all of us to practice loving yourself every single day, because from that love great things can happen, to you and to others. So today I am going to make it all about self-love and self-worth, because if you want to enjoy life, first you must be comfortable with the person you are going to spend all of it with, and that is of course, YOURSELF.
